Although Ribadeo’s La Solana Restaurant was actually born two years earlier, the eatery as it stands today saw the light in June 2004.
That’s when we set our project in motion, discovering and living with our clients, creating a working, leisure, fun relationship with them, and very often one of friendship.
Since then, we have shared our experiences, in the hope that you will all have a fabulous time round our table.
A table at which we strive to serve the very best of quality, essential to our work ethos, to ensure that you experience the true FLAVOUR of the dishes we serve, prepared the traditional way.
Our work largely focusses on an à la carte menu offering the very best of local fish: Seabass, White Seabream; John Dory, Red Bream, etc. simply grilled, baked, butterflied & grilled, served with only basic accompaniment to give our customers what they come here for: a meal of excellent fish. We also serve seafood, different kinds of paella and the traditional local dish of soupy rice with lobster.
However, our love of cuisine prepared with these top quality products means that we also serve the finest meat, from Asturian Culona veal, a whiter, more delicate option, to the DO Galician blond from cattle generally aged 10 years and over, with a colour and aroma certain to delight red-meat lovers.
That’s why I can make the humble yet very proud claim that, rather than serving signature dishes featuring a single product, we specialise in carefully preparing our dishes, our cuisine, thanks to the respect for and above all love of our trade.
We invite you to visit our website and take a closer look at our restaurant; we’ll be only too happy to answer any questions you may have.
